By making sure that you know what the skills and and support that the individual needs, you can properly guide that individual to properly negotiate in any environment.

ANSWER: The only scope in a negotiation is communication. Communication can be in terms of speech, writing or any other methods available. The main focus in a negotiation is to bring and finalize the other party at our own terms or to the maximum extent possible. Though negotiation can also be a win-win situation for both the parties, it is mostly done to get maximum benefits out of it.
