lets assume those 3 numbers are x , x +1, x +2
so
x + x +1+ x + 2 = 774
3x + 3 = 774
3x = 774-3 = 771
x = 771/3 = 257
so numbers are
257 , 258, 259
➷ The first number can be written as x
The second would therefore be x + 1
The third would therefore by x + 2
This is what we know:
x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 774
Simplify:
3x + 3 = 774
Subtract 3 from both sides:
3x = 771
Divide both sides by 3:
x = 257
The numbers are 257, 258 and 259
