I really need help with this.

A grocer stacks cans in a square pyramid with 10 layers. The number of cans in each layer maked a pyramid sequence. How many cans are in the pyramid?

Respuesta :

Answer:

378 cans in total

Step-by-step explanation:

The way I understood it is that there's a pyramid of cans where there are ten layers, now assuming that the top of the pyramid is one can then we can say that the bottom layer (n x n) should be 10x10 cans which is 100 cans.

Now with n=10,

n-1 = 9

n x n = 9 x 9 which is 81,then repeat process u til you get 1 x 1 = 1

After that, add them together to get 378 cans.

Hopefully I was able to help...
