Many Americans celebrate holidays. Some of those holidays might be Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s day, and so many more! One of the most popular holidays are Christmas.
Christmas is celebrated every year on December 25th. some people do not celebrate this holiday though. on christmas, every kid wakes up happy. they wake up and go see what Santa has brought them. Usually, there is stuff in their stocking hanging above the fireplace. Then, under the Christmas tree, there are presents that kids open. Sometimes on Christmas, you bake sugar cookies. Usually though, you bake them the night before to leave out for Santa and the rain deer to eat.
Another Holiday is Halloween. Kids also love halloween because you can dress up as whatever you want. typically, kids dress as their favorite character, or just something they like in general. then, around 5:00 kids go around the the neighbors houses and collect candy. it is a fin activity to do with your friends.
Lastly, another holiday is Easter. On easter, some people go to church. when you wake up in the morning, there are easter eggs filled with candy, money, goodies, etc. you go around with a basket trying to collect as many as you can.
In conclusion, there are many holidays that americans celebrate. some of this holidays conclude Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and so many more.
