At 18 years of age, Mary Shelley wrote a cautionary tale about the potential consequences of science. How did she use writing to convey this message? How would an 18 year old today convey this message?

Respuesta :

  • Mary Shelley beautifully wove the horrors of scientific inventions into a story to leave a cautionary message to society at large.Victor creates a monster using science and old body parts but he got scared after its creation and ran away.Later, the monster killed his brother and the housemaid was tried for that murder.Science can get us to invent which may be dangerous for human beings.
  • An 18 year old today can convey the same cautionary message to society citing inventions like tiny robots that use artificial intelligence and automation which may be used in wars and can wreak havoc among humans.
