The first answer is correct: "Did you bring anything for the volunteers to eat?" asked Jack.
1) You use the quotation marks "..." to enclose what someone has just said, in this case Jacke stated something in the past
2) You cannot put the question mark at the end of "......asked Jack? because the question ends in "....to eat?"
