At Middletown Middle School, Marianne must score an average of at least 80 points on 4 tests before she can apply for the scholarship. If she scored 79, 81, and 77 for the first three tests, what must you score on her last test?

Answer: Marianne would have to get a 79 on her final test.

Step-by-step explanation: In order to get the average, you have to add all of your numbers up and multiply by how many numbers you have (in your case, 3) and you will find your answer.

79+81+77=237  237 divided by 3 is 79. (  Sorry I used a calculator :(   )
