The progress in the scientific community has made it nearly possible to bring back the recently extinct organisms. It can be done either via cloning or by selective breeding. The de-extinction is also known as the species revivalism as the extinct species or the species closer to those extinct are revived using the discussed scientific methods.
However, it should be noted that the revival of these past species may cause a number of potential problems with the existing species.
1: The resources for the existing species are already limited. The resurrection of the extinct species will just add to the problem.
2. These species were extinct because they couldn't adapt to the changing environment. Their revival will not solve this problem. They might still not be able to adapt to the environment.
3. Moreover, the revival of the extinct species will also most likely bring back the pathogens that were extinct with them.
