This means 100 - 60 = 40% are boys,

Now we can find total number of students by putting the numbers in formula percentage which is equal to the number of boys *100 / total number of students.

Wherby the total number of students is equal to number of boys * 100 /percentage

= 30 * 100 / 40

= 3000 / 40 = 75 total numbers of students,

Now boys + girls = total students  

Henceforth, total students - boys = girls

75 - 30 = 45
