(i) Time taken by the car to acquire the velocity of 40m/sec. (ii) Distance travelled by the car for attaining the velocity of 40m/sec.

t=5
(1/2)(4)(5)^2+20(5)+0=150=x 1/2at^2+vt+x=x(t)
