Use Pythagoras theorem to find the base of the triangle.

a^2 = 6^2 - 3^2 =  27

a = sqrt27

b^2 = 9^2 - 3^2 =  72

b = sqrt72

Base = sqrt27 + sqrt72

= 13.68

So Area = 0.5 * 13.68 * 3

= 20.52 cm^2   (answer)


Perimeter = 9 + 6 + 13.68

= 28.68  ( answer).
