therefore --- [tex]14x+7=5x+34[/tex]
Subtract 7 from both sides
[tex]14x=5x+27[/tex]
Subtract 5x from each side
[tex]9x=27[/tex]
Divide 9 on each side
[tex]x=3[/tex]
Since, We are asked to find the length of AB and JK
plug in 3 for x
[tex]5(3)+34=15+34=49[/tex]
