Both China and India were very religous countries. They are both known for their religous architects and traditions. The main religions of China were Confucianism, Taoism, and Legalism. The central religions in India were Hinduism and Buddhism. Hope I helped!
Ancient India and China were different in some respects such as the value placed on family, which was greater in China due to Confucianism. Also, India was more open to foreigners than China was, and isolationism in China eventually reached the point where Europeans were banned from China’s ports, with some exceptions. Their social hierarchies were also different, as in China merchants were considered to be very low in status because they were seen as being dishonest. On the contrary, in India merchants were high in status.
