How to calculate the rates of increase in mass and in volume for the bag containing sodium chloride solution during the first 30 minutes??

Please it’s for my final exam !!!!

For first 30 minutes the rate of change of mass  

= M2 – M1/ time taken

= 16 g – 12.5/30

= 0.12 g/min

For first 30 minutes the rate of change of volume  

= V2 – V1/ time taken

= 14 -10 cm3/ 30 min

= 0.13 cm3/ min
