For event X, 1,,6,8 are checked and P(X) = 3/8

for event 'not X' 2,3,4,5 and 7 are checked and P(not X ) = 5/8

b) To find 1 - P(X)

1 - P(X) = 1 - 3/8 = (8 - 5)/8 = 5/8
