No solution is possible using odd consecutive integer

Discussion:

Let "n" be the smaller odd integer. Then

n + (n+2) = 9 =>

2n + 2 = 9 =>

2n = 7 =>    Oops!  2n is an even integer; 7 is odd. NO integer solution exists
