okay so i watched a video about baseball in la Republica Dominicana in my Spanish class and from that video it said that these boys put there all into baseball because its like their way out. a lot of them are poor or are not as wealthy as others so if they do baseball they could have the chance to make money or to even get out of la Republica Dominicana
