Anaerobic exercise is suppose to help you gain muscle and lose un-needed weight. Anaerobic means "without oxygen." This is when your breathing is so intense you have a few intense deep breaths of air but very little breaths in all. This will happen when lifting weights, running, or sprinting up the stairs.
