other= It depends on how you determine whether something is protestant or not. All of the countries had protestant contingents, including France, but all of them also had catholic contingents. The State Churches, or National Churches, of Denmark, England, and Sweden were, and are, protestant. In France during the 16th and 17th Centuries, there were the Protestant Huguenots, but Catholicism was the recognized National Church.
