Mitochondria are found in most animal cells.

Mitochondria in animal cells, like plant cells, helps the cell to respirate and produce ATP which enables the cell to get chemical energy which is important for other cell processes. This makes mitochondria indispensable because without mitochondria cells would have to switch to a form of respiration that doesn't require oxygen making animals that have cells that perform complex cell functions limited.

Mitochondria are found in the cytoplasm of most animal cells that have a nucleus. All in all, mitochondria make it feasible for animal cells to complete life capacities like development.

In a summary, mitochondria are found in most animal cells. Why the word "Most" is ticked some animals are eukaryotes might not have mitochondria because they could survive and perform major cell functions in an anaerobic condition, for example, Monocercomonoides species.
