How many of the possible outcomes have an even number or a B?

There are 12 possible outcomes. Of the 12, 6 are even and 4 have B's. That would give up 10/12. But then you would subtract the possible outcomes that are BOTH even AND have a B. Only 2 possible outcomes have an even number and the letter B. So 10 minus 2 is 8. That would give you 8/12. Simplify and you will get your answer of 2/3!
