A store sells a package of 25 trading cards for $9.50. Use pencil and paper. Explain how you can tell that the unit price per card is less than $1. What is the unit price per card?
First we devide 25 and 9.50 so 9.50 divided by 25 equals 0.38. A dollar is $1 or $1.00 making 0.38 less then a dollar since $0.38 would be the price per card.
