We should definitely know the slope formula:
m=y₂-y₁/x₂-x₁
m=[tex] \frac{-2-2}{-1-(-4)} [/tex]
=[tex] \frac{-4}{3} [/tex]
The slope of the line that passes through points (-4, 2) and (-1, -2) is [tex] \frac{-4}{3} [/tex]
