To make it easier to work out rearrange the equation
x^2-4x+y^2+10y=20
I’m going to solve by completing the square for both y and x, for x the number to add is 4 and for y it’s 25 and then add those numbers to the other side as well
(x^2-4x+4)+(y^2+10y+25)=20
(x-2)^2+(y+5)^2=20
Standard form of equation is (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2, center is (h,k)
Center of this circle is (2,-5)
Radius is the square root of 20 or in decimal form about 4.47 rounded
