A planarian is a flat worm belongs to phylum Platyhelminthes. It has a soft, broadleaf shaped body covered with cilia. Planarian has a three branched digestive system.
There is difference between the two ends. At the head region there are two auricles; ear like structure whereas the other end is simply tail.
