Photosynthesis is the process which uses sunlight and converts carbon dioxide and water into glucose which is the example of carbohydrate. Oxygen is also produce as product in this reaction

This phenomenon is explained by following equation.

6CO2+6H2O---->C6H12O6+ 6O2

Simply six mole of carbon dioxide and six mole of water reacts in the presence of sunlight yields one mole of glucose(carbohydrate) and 6mole of molecular oxygen.
