As earths climate changes over time so will it’s energy budget one possible effect of a changing climate is changes to cloud cover. If the amount of cloud cover on earth were to decline what effect could that have on the amount of energy absorbed by land and oceans?
clouds reflect a large portion of the sun's energy, so if cloud cover declines, the amount of energy absorbed by land and oceans would increase, causing a temperature increase as well.
