It is a biome characterized by scattered trees and grasses. It falls between the region of tropical rein-forest and deserts biome. This region is not favorable for vegetation because not much of rain falls here.
Generally, savannah has two different seasons; a very long dry season and a very long wet season. In dry season, an average of 4 inches of rain falls and oddly it is a little cool here during dry season.
