If each batch of cookies requires 2 1/2 cups of flour, how many batches can be made with 7 cups. How do you solve this.

Only 2 batches can be made. To solve this you will add 2.5 each time, so it would be 2.5, 5, then 7.5. but since you only have 7 cups of flour you don’t have enough to make the 3rd batch. hope this helps!! :)

Divide 7 by 2.50 which equals 2.80
So you can make almost 3 batches
