There are four major layers in which the structure of Earth is divided
The crust:
This stratum of the earth lies on the outermost surface and is composed primarily of granite and basalt solid rock.
Oceanic and continental crust are the two different types.
The majority of the oceanic crust is made of basalt and is denser and thinner.
Granite makes up the majority of the less dense, thicker continental crust.
The mantle:
The majority of the interior of the Earth is made up of the mantle.
The Earth's thin exterior layer, the crust, and its deep, extremely hot core are separated by the mantle.
Approximately 2,900 kilometers thick, the mantle accounts for an astounding 84 percent of the volume of the planet.

The outer core:
The mantle rests on top of the outer core.
The magnetic field on Earth is produced by the spinning of this layer of liquid iron and nickel. We are shielded from solar radiation by this magnetic field.

The inner core:
The Earth's inner core is its deepest layer.
Additionally composed of iron and nickel, it is no longer liquid due to the extreme pressure.
In the inner core, the temperature is roughly 5505 °C as hot as the sun's surface.
