Solution for the question asked: 3x^2-5x+4=6
it can be simplified by subtracting 6 from both the sides...
3x^2-5x+4-6=6-6
3x^2-5x-2=0 which is the required form where a=3,b=-5 and c=-2.Now putting the values in the formula we will get two values for x which are 6 and (-1).
hope this will help you
(-2x² + wx - 4) - (x² + 5x + 6) = -3x² - 10 Distribute/multiply - into (x² + 5x + 6)
-2x² + wx - 4 - x² - 5x - 6 = -3x² - 10 Combine like terms
-3x² + wx - 5x - 10 = -3x² - 10 Add 10 on both sides
-3x² + wx - 5x = -3x² Add 3x² on both sides
wx - 5x = 0 Add 5x on both sides
wx = 5x Divide x on both sides
w = 5
