In a confederation, the central government depends on the ideas of the state. Every state has its own power. However, our government pretty much bounces ideas off of each other.
The people of a needs someone to govern the actions of their nation and to give direction to the nation. This has led to the emergence of the concept of a government.

- The confederation is a type of government where the nation takes decision on the basis of the decisions of state. The state has all the powers. The printing and minting of currency is also done by the states.
- The confederation form of government is thus different from the government form we have today because in this form of government power lies majorly in the hands of central government.
