The women in these poems are seen as precious and delicate, valuable for the challenge they may present in loving them and for what they can offer as a reward after conquering them.
- What is your opinion about it?
The way in which women are seen in these poems is related to a strong feeling of admiration and love towards them. I believed those feelings served as inspiration for the poets, there is no better way to create beautiful art than from such beautiful feelings, in my opinion. Women are wonderful creatures that had been the source of inspiration for the most amazing creations from the beginning of time.
- How do you think it compares with the concept of being feminine in the middle Ages?
The way in which women are seen in these poems is strongly linked to motherhood and to the position of " the healer" and "the queen" among others, which were prominent roles for women during the Middle age and roles that were considered very admirable during at the time.
