There are many arguments that favor telework, the ones I find most compelling are those which showcase mutual benefits for both employers and employees at the same time. Here are a couple of them:

-Flexibility increases productivity: Both testimonial and scientific evidence supports the idea that a flexible working environment allows for a more healthy dynamic between productivity and comfort, boosting each other side by side. And what is more comfortable than being at home?

-Remote work is cost-effective: Not only will employees' performance improve and benefit the employer with more production, but it will save companies tremendous amount of money in real estate, office supplies and travel expenses.

-Reduced absenteeism and turnover: It's very easy to arrive to the conclusion that absenteeism will drop as people don't have to worry about weather conditions or commuting. Perhaps an overlooked side-effect of giving comfort and flexibility to the employees, is that they will be more likely to stay in the company. Not only that, but they will actually care about the work with an improved morale and sense of loyalty.
