Ok, Heterogeneous mixtures contain one or more elements in the mixture.
Elements are one single species, you want find two different atoms representing one element ever .
Heterogeneous mixture can be broken down and separated i think into components. Element gold is as basic as you can get; it won't break down into anything simpler than gold .
hope this is some info 2 help you well :)

Answer:
1. They could be composed by elements, compounds or molecules and the difference among the constituents is evident.
2. They could have more than one different atom forming the mixture.
Explanation:
Hello,
In this case, elements, such as hydrogen, nitrogen, gold, silver, etc, are those we find in the periodic table composed by protons, neutrons and electrons as their basic constituents forming only one atom. Moreover, heterogeneous mixtures are composed by elements, compounds or molecules in which we could see the difference between the constituents for instance, cornflakes in milk, ice in soda, soil, etc. Therefore, two ways heterogeneous mixtures differ from elements are:
1. They could be composed by elements, compounds or molecules and the difference among the constituents is evident.
2. They could have more than one different atom forming the mixture.
Best regards.
