The Loveliest of Trees is set on
spring. In the poem the speaker talks about how the blooming cherry trees in
the first and last stanzas. Since the cherry trees, usually bloom sometime in
April, it can be said that the poem is set in late spring. Furthermore, the
speaker also mentioned spring and how he’s still at the “spring” years of his
life.
