Here are the following evidences that Charles Darwin used to support his argument for evolution:
Fossil history - This is used in order to study the historical evolution of animals.
Geography - This was used in order to study the strains of evolved species in various areas. 
Embryology  - This was used in order to prove that evolution is based on birth.
Anatomy - This was studied in order to learn how living species evolve based on surroundings and how their body parts work.
