This policy was called Appeasement (and it was to Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany - you misspelled his name).
This policy assumed that if some of the demands of Hitler will be satisfied, namely, the annexation of parts of Czechoslovakia with German-speaking minority, we would stop threatening other countries.
