It’s a metaphor, a simile contains like it as, just as the person above pointed out, but a metaphor is calling it something. For example, “her smile is like sunshine” is a simile, but “her smile is the sun” is a metaphor. It can’t be a hyperbole because there is no exaggerating. If it were a sentence such as “she smiled brighter than a million suns” than it would be a hyperbole. It’s not extremely absurd or anything, so it isn’t a paradox either.
