The Black Death is estimated that it killed 30–60% of Europe's total population. The plague may have reduced the world population from an estimated 450 million down to 350–375 million.

The 1300´s plague, known as the "Black Death" resulted in a percentage of 30% to 60%    -( this cipher varies according to different historians; Norwegian Historian Benedictow places it as the 60% high end )-     of the population of Europe´s death toll. The rate of death was higher in more densely populated areas.
