How can you generalize the statement?

The difference of the squares of two integers is the length of one leg of a right triangle, twice the product of those integers is the length of the other leg of a right triangle, and the sum of the squares of those integers is the length of the hypotenuse of the triangle.

Respuesta :

(x^2-y^2) =a

2xy =b

x^2+y^2 = c

Using the pythagorean  theorem

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

((x^2-y^2)^2) + (2xy)^2 = (x^2+y^2 )^2

x^4 -2x^2y^2 +y^4 +4x^2y^2 = x^4 +2x^2y^2 +y^4

x^4 +2x^2y^2 +y^4 = x^4 +2x^2y^2 +y^4

This is true
