The people who benefited from the second wawe of westward expansion (Ocurred from 1840 until 1900) in the United States was in first place, the Government, then the land promoters who wanted to find bigger business possibilities, the railway tycoons who wanted to expand their industry, the farm owners who were looking for more and better opportunities for their families and other investors who supported the westward expansion with the only objective to obtain financial benefits for themselves.
