5/8 cups banana slices * 6 drinks = 5/8 * 6 = (5*6)/8 = 30/8 cups of banana slices.

2/8 cups of blueberries * 6 drinks = 2/8 * 6 = (2*6)/8 = 12/8 cups of blueberries

30/8 + 12/8 = 42/8 cups of banana slices and blueberries
