He wrote the “Disputation on the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences,” which are also known as “The Ninety-Five Theses,” a list of questions and some propositions for people to debate. People say that on October 31, 1517 Martin Luther had defiantly hammered a copy of his Ninety-Five Theses on the door of the Wittenberg Castle church.
