Spanish conquistadors used advanced armor, which worked in their advantage. The conquistadors were soldiers, they looted native communities for gold, silver and more. They had swords that they used in combat. The swords were usually three feet long, narrow, and sharp on both sides. They also had Laces which were long wooden spears with end points or iron or steel. They also had advanced armor, made of “toledo”. These soldiers were protected head to foot and were practically indestructible.
