Option A is correct: The Incans did not rely on trade, but Egyptians did. As regards the Incas, they were a self-sufficient society (every citizen had their needs met) so they did not need money and when exchanging some goods with other peoples they did it by using barter system. As regards the Egyptians, they were big traders. They traded almost everything (copper, animal skins, silver, iron, spices, etc). They had a money/barter system in which they measured the value of goods by means of a "deben" (a piece of copper that weighed about 90 grams). For example, a liter of wine= 1 deben.
