Civil rights and liberties; The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage other rights retained by the people.

Answer:

The ninth amendment is the part of the bill of rights which was added to the constitution on December 15, 1791. According to it, all the rights which are not listed in the constitution belong to the people, not the government. It means that the rights of the people are more than what is listed in the constitution. Some rights are the right to privacy, right to speech. This amendment was also cited by the supreme court in the famous Roe Vs Wade. Some rights protected under this amendment are, right to abortion based on the right to privacy, right to choose and follow a profession, right to attend and report on criminal trials, etc.
