Excluded values are the values that make the denominator 0

Denominator 0 is undefined so we exclude the values that makes the denominator 0

[tex]\frac{1}{x} - \frac{x}{9} =0[/tex]

LCD is 9x

Multiply the first fraction by 9 and second fraction by x

[tex]\frac{1*9}{x*9} - \frac{x*x}{9*x} =0[/tex]

[tex]\frac{9-x^2}{9x} =0[/tex]

We have 9x in the denominator

When x=0 the denominator becomes 0

so excluded value is x=0
