-Hippocrates was called "father of modern medicine" and he was one of the first doctors who created an oath (Hippocratic oath) still used by medical students graduating

Science
-observed all matter is made of atoms
-after Athens defeated Persia they became the center of Greek culture and science

Math
-Archimedes figured out the lever and pulleys system
- Pythagorus created the Pythagorean Theorum (a^2+b^2=c^2)
-mathemetician Euclia wrote a book called "The Elements" used to teach geometry.
