Ovum or egg is produced in the ovaries.

The two kinds of sex cells are, sperm found males, and eggs found in female. Both of these sex cells are formed using asexual reproduction meaning that they don't require two parent cells to reproduce more cells. Thus is also called the process of mitosis.
